To use a 3D folder correctly, you must first mist your paper on both sides with water, which can be a heavy cardstock, metallic foil, watercolor paper, or mixed media paper (all sold separately). The folder should be used with only 1 cutting pad due to the thickness of the folder, just place the folder on the platform base. For best results, pass it through your machine 3 times at an angle.
